How we are organised
CAID Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company, incorporated under the Companies Act 2013. We are founder-led, with a two-director board currently in place.
A small board is appropriate for where we are right now, but we have a plan to grow it. As our programs expand, we will bring in independent directors with expertise in finance, public health, education and civil society governance. That matters because it builds real accountability, not just a compliance checkbox.
We follow the governance requirements of the Companies Act 2013, including AGMs, statutory filings, board resolutions, and financial reporting. All operations are managed through proper accounting systems with professional oversight.

Scaling Our Governance Oversight
Independent Directors
We plan to bring in 2–3 independent directors by the end of Year 2, with expertise in finance, public health, and social development.
Finance & Audit Committee
As we receive external funding, we will form a finance and audit committee to provide proper oversight of expenditure and compliance.
Advisory Support
We are building an informal advisory group of sector professionals who can guide our programmatic and organisational decisions.
